"uke can do it"

paris Pick also known by stage name ‘Paris Vagabond Gypsy’ hitchhiked to Whitehorse Yukon when she was 18 years old. Within the first year of being Whitehorse bound she began to pursue her professional music career. Paris made herself known by performing the Whitehorse scene regularly, From rocking local pubs at night to busking on main street dressed like a pirate during the day or attending local jams and open mics with her singing, bass playing and ukulele. Over the year's she's scoped out some of Whitehorse’s finest talent to join her musical journeys.

Paris Pick always seems to capture an audiences attention, not just with her outrageously tacky and fun stage-outfits or her 80’s mullet, but with her upbeat & entertaining songs about friendship, family, falling in love, spiteful break-ups, female super heroes, pirates, captured youth and more. Paris' original music could be described as Pop-Rock with Soul/Motown and Funk vibes. Paris wields an electric ukulele plugged through various FX pedals & showcases her powerful lead vocals. Paris' band (Sometimes known as Ukes of Hazard or Paris Pick and the Pricks) brings the heat with rockin’ guitar solos, upbeat and unique ukulele and a funky rhythm section. Sometimes with the addition of keyboard, or horn section
