Ukes of Hazard began back in 2013 after pirate-busker/vagabond Paris Pick hitchhiked to Whitehorse Yukon when she was just 18 years old. Within the first year of being in Whitehorse she found the musicians who’d join her band and start her musical journey.

This hazardous 5-piece band has no problem developing a dancefloor, Entertaining crowds with their upbeat & unique songs about friendship, family, love, hate, pirates and more. Their unique sound is driven by Paris whom wields an electric ukulele plugged through various FX pedals & her powerful deep vocals. The rest of the band consists of melodic saxophone, rocking guitar solos and a funky rhythm section.

In August 2015 Ukes of Hazard released their self-titled demo album quickly followed by their first LP ‘Mine to Creep’.

The Ukes have performed at every Yukon music event possible from Frostbite Music Festival, Sunstroke Music Festival, Simapalooza, Fest-Fest, Rocktober, FebFest, Arts in the Park and Rendezvous Winter Festival. They’ve performed at Folk on the Rocks in Yellowknife N.W.T, Atlin & Arts Music Festival, Dawson City Music Festival and Blue Feather Music Festival. as of June 2017 this hazardous group CONQUERED THEir FIRST TOUR TO BC.

Ukes of hazard could be described as a pop-rock swing band with influences of latin,disco & funk.

Featuring electric guitar (Zacharie pelland), bass (aiden tenrees) , drums (patrick docherty), saxophone (cain rogan) and electric ukulele (paris pick).
