our hazardous tale

"uke can do it"

Ukes of Hazard began back in 2013 after PRO-pirate-busker-vagabond Paris Pick hitchhiked to Whitehorse Yukon when she was 18 years old. Within the first year of being in Whitehorse she knew she was ready to create her very own band. Paris made herself known by performing at local open mics regularly and hosting local jams. by singing, playing bass and ukulele, she established herself amongst the local musician scene in Whitehorse, then she slowly picked out the fine talent that would join her super group.

This hazardous band has no problem developing a dancefloor, Entertaining crowds with their upbeat songs about friendship, family, falling in love, spiteful break-ups, female super heroes, pirates and more. Their unique sound is driven by Paris whom wields an electric ukulele plugged through various FX pedals & her powerful vocals. Ukes of Hazard brings the heat with rocking guitar solos, upbeat ukulele and a funky rhythm section. “Uke Can’t Miss their performance!” - What’s Up Yukon Magazine
